Sacred Books, LLC (“Sacred Books,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) creates and publishes books, workbooks, observation and recordkeeping tools, biblical and spiritual educational resources, downloadable materials, digital products, websites, applications, browser-based tools, and related content. You can explore our Observation Tools and Biblical Wisdom resources to learn more about Sacred Books products and educational content.
This Privacy Policy explains how Sacred Books handles information in connection with:
sacredbooksllc.com and related Sacred Books webpages;
books, workbooks, observation tools, and downloadable resources;
newsletters, forms, and communications;
digital products and educational resources;
Sacred Books applications and software, including the Sacred Books Bible Reader;
Sacred Books browser extensions and other digital tools; and
other products or services that link to this Privacy Policy.
Together, these are referred to in this Policy as the “Services.”
Different Sacred Books Services collect different amounts of information. A feature that applies to the website does not automatically apply to an application, book, downloadable tool, or other Sacred Books product.
2. Information You Choose to Provide
We may collect information you voluntarily provide to us, including:
your name;
email address;
telephone number if you choose to provide it;
messages submitted through a contact form;
newsletter or resource sign-up information;
customer-service questions;
product or technical-support requests;
information associated with a direct order or transaction;
survey, feedback, or promotional responses; and
other information you choose to send to Sacred Books.
You are not required to provide personal information simply to browse portions of our website or use Sacred Books products that do not require registration.
3. Observation Tools, Journals, Logs, and Personal Records
Sacred Books publishes observation tools, journals, logs, workbooks, planners, and other recordkeeping products that allow users to write down information about their own experiences, routines, purchases, symptoms, medications, supplements, meals, hydration, sleep, appointments, questions, spiritual reflections, or other matters.
Information that you write in a printed book, workbook, privately stored file, or other personal Sacred Books record is not automatically transmitted to Sacred Books.
Sacred Books does not receive or access the information you privately record in those products unless you independently choose to send that information to us.
Please use caution before sending medical records, sensitive health information, financial information, passwords, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information through an ordinary website contact form or email.

4. Purchases and Payment Information
Sacred Books products may be sold directly or through third-party retailers, marketplaces, application stores, or payment processors.
When a purchase is completed through a third party such as Amazon, an application marketplace, or another retailer, that company processes the transaction according to its own terms and privacy practices.
Sacred Books generally does not receive your complete payment-card number when a third-party payment processor or marketplace processes your transaction.
We may receive limited information necessary to confirm a transaction, provide a product or service, respond to customer support requests, maintain business records, or comply with legal obligations.
5. Website and Technical Information
When you visit a Sacred Books website, our website platform, security providers, analytics providers, or other technical service providers may automatically receive standard technical information such as:
Internet Protocol address;
browser type;
device type;
operating system;
approximate geographic region derived from network information;
referring webpage;
pages viewed;
date and time of access;
website interactions; and
information stored through cookies or similar technologies.
We may use this information to operate, secure, maintain, understand, and improve our website.
Sacred Books does not need precise GPS location information to provide its ordinary website content unless a specific future feature expressly states otherwise.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website and the services used to operate it may use cookies or similar technologies for functions such as:
website operation;
security;
remembering preferences;
measuring website performance;
understanding general site traffic; and
improving the user experience.
Third-party websites reached through Sacred Books links may use their own cookies or tracking technologies. Their practices are governed by their own privacy policies.
Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not interpreted consistently across the Internet. Our website may therefore not respond to every Do Not Track signal.
7. Email, Newsletters, Downloads, and Optional Communications
If you request a free resource, subscribe to a newsletter, join an email list, or otherwise request communications from Sacred Books, we may use the information you provide to deliver what you requested and send related communications where permitted by law.
Marketing emails will provide an unsubscribe method where required.
If Sacred Books offers an optional SMS or text-message program, enrollment will be voluntary and the specific consent language presented when you enroll will govern that program. Message and data rates may apply. You may withdraw consent as described in the applicable message or enrollment notice.
We do not require participation in marketing communications in order to use the Sacred Books Bible Reader.
8. Sacred Books Bible Reader
The Sacred Books Bible Reader is designed as a Scripture-reading application.
The current Roku version of the Sacred Books Bible Reader:
does not require a Sacred Books account;
does not require users to provide Sacred Books with a name or email address;
does not require a Sacred Books subscription;
does not contain Sacred Books in-app purchases;
does not contain advertising;
does not collect precise location information for Sacred Books;
does not use Sacred Books-operated behavioral advertising or behavioral tracking; and
does not currently use Sacred Books-operated analytics to build individual user profiles.
Scripture text used by the application is stored with the application so that reading functionality may continue without an active Internet connection after the application and required content have been installed.
Sacred Books does not directly collect the passages you read, searches you perform, or Bible navigation activity in the current version of the application.
Roku Platform Data
The Sacred Books Bible Reader is distributed through the Roku platform.
Roku may independently process device, account, installation, diagnostic, usage, store, or platform information as part of operating Roku devices and the Roku Streaming Store.
Information independently collected or processed by Roku is governed by Roku’s own terms and privacy practices. Sacred Books does not control Roku’s independent platform-level data practices.
If a future version of the Sacred Books Bible Reader introduces Sacred Books accounts, cloud synchronization, analytics, advertising, purchases, subscriptions, or other features that materially change our data practices, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
9. Other Sacred Books Applications and Digital Tools
Sacred Books may develop additional applications, utilities, educational tools, browser extensions, interactive resources, and software.
Not every Sacred Books application collects personal information.
Where a particular application has data practices that differ materially from this general Privacy Policy, Sacred Books may provide an additional application-specific notice describing those practices.
The more specific notice will control for that particular feature where it conflicts with this general Policy.
10. Prophetic Insights Browser Extension
The Prophetic Insights browser extension is designed to provide inspirational or educational content without requiring users to create a Sacred Books account.
Sacred Books does not intentionally require users of the extension to provide names, email addresses, payment information, or precise location information merely to use the extension.
A browser, browser-extension marketplace, operating system, or platform provider may independently collect technical or platform information under its own policies.
11. How We Use Information
Sacred Books may use information we receive to:
provide requested products, resources, or services;
respond to messages and customer-support requests;
deliver requested downloads or communications;
process or document transactions;
operate and maintain the website and digital Services;
troubleshoot technical problems;
secure our Services and prevent misuse;
improve products and user experiences;
understand general website performance;
maintain required business and tax records;
comply with legal obligations;
protect Sacred Books, our users, or others; and
carry out another purpose disclosed to you when information is collected.
We do not use information privately written inside your physical Sacred Books journals, logs, or workbooks because Sacred Books does not receive that information unless you choose to send it to us.

We may disclose limited information to service providers that perform functions on our behalf, such as:
website hosting;
cloud or technical infrastructure;
email delivery;
customer communications;
payment processing;
analytics;
security;
file delivery;
transaction support; and
professional business services.
These providers may process information only as permitted by their agreements, their own legal obligations, and applicable law.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
comply with law, court orders, or lawful governmental requests;
investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our Terms;
protect the rights, property, or safety of Sacred Books, our customers, or others; or
complete a legitimate merger, acquisition, financing, sale, restructuring, or transfer of some or all business assets.
Sacred Books does not sell personal information for money.
The current Sacred Books Bible Reader does not use customer information for targeted or behavioral advertising.
13. Third-Party Platforms and Links
Sacred Books may link to or distribute products through third-party companies such as bookstores, marketplaces, social platforms, video platforms, app stores, payment services, or other websites.
When you leave a Sacred Books-controlled Service or conduct a transaction directly with another company, that company’s privacy policy and terms govern its activities.
Sacred Books is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of independently operated third-party platforms.
14. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including:
fulfilling requests;
providing support;
maintaining transaction and business records;
resolving disputes;
protecting against fraud or abuse; and
meeting tax, accounting, contractual, or legal obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the service involved.
15. Data Security
Sacred Books uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle.
However, no Internet transmission, electronic storage system, application, or website can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their own devices, accounts, passwords, downloads, printed records, and personal files.
16. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights concerning your personal information, such as the right to:
request access;
request correction;
request deletion;
request information about certain disclosures or processing;
object to or restrict certain processing; or
withdraw certain forms of consent.
These rights are subject to applicable legal exceptions.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
17. Children and Family Use
Some Sacred Books books, Scripture resources, educational materials, or applications may be appropriate for use by families.
The Sacred Books Bible Reader is a general-audience Scripture-reading application. It is not specifically directed to children, but this does not mean that families or minors are prohibited from reading Scripture through the application.
Services involving purchases, accounts, direct marketing enrollment, contracts, or submission of personal information are intended to be managed by adults or used with appropriate parent or guardian involvement.
Sacred Books does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 in a manner that requires parental consent under applicable United States law.
If we learn that personal information was collected from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
18. International Users
Sacred Books, LLC is based in the United States.
If you access our Services from another country, information that you choose to provide may be transferred to or processed in the United States or another jurisdiction where our service providers operate.
Privacy protections and legal requirements may differ between jurisdictions.
19. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Sacred Books may update this Privacy Policy as our products, applications, technologies, or legal obligations change.
When material changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and provide additional notice when required by law.
New features that materially change the way a Sacred Books application collects or uses personal information may also receive an application-specific notice.
