1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of products, content, websites, applications, digital tools, and services provided by Sacred Books, LLC (“Sacred Books,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Sacred Books creates and publishes products that may include:
books and workbooks;
observation and recordkeeping tools;
journals, logs, planners, and reference materials;
biblical and spiritual educational content;
Scripture resources;
articles and publications;
downloadable resources;
digital products;
educational tools;
websites;
applications;
browser extensions; and
other Sacred Books products and services.
These products and services are collectively referred to as the “Services.”
By accessing or using a Sacred Books Service, you agree to these Terms to the extent applicable to that Service.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the applicable Service.
2. Different Services May Have Different Features
Not every provision of these Terms applies in the same way to every Sacred Books product.
For example:
a printed workbook does not require an account;
a free downloadable resource may require an email address for delivery;
a third-party marketplace may process a purchase;
an application may operate without collecting personal information; and
a future interactive service may require additional terms.
Where Sacred Books provides additional terms for a specific application, product, promotion, or feature, those additional terms become part of these Terms for that service.
3. Educational and Informational Purpose
Sacred Books publishes educational, organizational, spiritual, informational, and personal recordkeeping resources.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Sacred Books does not provide medical, psychiatric, psychological, legal, tax, financial, pharmaceutical, or other licensed professional services.
Our content and tools should not be treated as a substitute for advice, diagnosis, treatment, evaluation, or services from an appropriately qualified professional.
4. Observation and Recordkeeping Tools
Sacred Books observation tools, journals, logs, trackers, planners, and similar products are intended to help users record, organize, compare, remember, and communicate information.
These products may include fields relating to matters such as:
medications;
supplements;
food;
hydration;
sleep;
energy;
symptoms;
routines;
appointments;
daily activities;
purchases; or
personal observations.
The presence of a topic in a Sacred Books recordkeeping product does not constitute a medical conclusion, diagnosis, recommendation, treatment plan, or representation that one recorded event caused another.
Users remain responsible for deciding when professional evaluation or care is appropriate.
In an emergency or potentially serious health situation, seek appropriate emergency or professional assistance rather than relying on a Sacred Books publication or tool.

5. Spiritual and Biblical Content
Sacred Books publishes Christian, biblical, spiritual, educational, devotional, and personal-development content.
Such content may include Scripture, commentary, interpretation, reflection, educational frameworks, questions, exercises, or personal-development material.
Spiritual or educational content is provided for learning and reflection. Sacred Books does not guarantee a particular spiritual, personal, financial, relational, health, or life outcome from using its content.
Readers remain responsible for their own beliefs, interpretations, decisions, and actions.
Additional Scripture-based education, study resources, and practical biblical teaching are available through Sacred Books Biblical Wisdom.
6. Sacred Books Bible Reader
The Sacred Books Bible Reader is a television-based Scripture-reading application created and published by Sacred Books, LLC.
The current Roku version allows users to read supported Scripture translations without creating a Sacred Books account.
The current Roku version does not require:
a Sacred Books membership;
a Sacred Books subscription;
an in-app purchase;
payment to Sacred Books to read the included Scripture; or
registration with Sacred Books.
Once installed with its required content, portions of the application may function without an active Internet connection.
Use of the application on Roku devices is also subject to applicable Roku device, account, Streaming Store, platform, and service terms.
7. Scripture Text and Public-Domain Materials
Sacred Books does not claim exclusive copyright ownership over Scripture text or other material that is lawfully in the public domain.
The Sacred Books Bible Reader currently includes the King James Version and Reina-Valera 1909 Scripture text.
Sacred Books uses such Scripture text based on its applicable public-domain status or other lawful authority in territories where the application is distributed.
Rights status can vary by translation and jurisdiction. Sacred Books reserves the right to modify the translations offered or territories of distribution where necessary to comply with intellectual-property or platform requirements.
Public-domain Scripture remains public-domain material to the extent provided by applicable law.
Sacred Books does not obtain ownership of public-domain Scripture merely by including it in an application, book, webpage, or other Sacred Books product.
8. Sacred Books Intellectual Property
Although Sacred Books does not claim ownership over public-domain Scripture or third-party material owned by others, Sacred Books retains its rights in its original work.
Unless otherwise stated, Sacred Books intellectual property may include:
the Sacred Books name and branding;
trademarks and logos;
original written content;
original educational frameworks;
workbook structures;
original questions and exercises;
publication design;
cover and graphic design;
website design;
application design;
software and source code;
interface design;
original graphics;
databases or curated structures where legally protectable;
videos and audio;
product descriptions; and
other original Sacred Books materials.
You may use purchased or freely provided Sacred Books materials for their intended personal use unless a different license expressly applies.
You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, publish, scrape, repurpose, upload, sublicense, or commercially exploit Sacred Books proprietary materials without permission except where allowed by law.
Nothing in these Terms restricts lawful use of underlying material that is independently in the public domain.
9. Scripture Accuracy and Error Reporting
Sacred Books takes reasonable steps to preserve the integrity and readability of Scripture text included in its products.
Digital publishing may nevertheless involve formatting, transcription, navigation, encoding, display, software, or device-related errors.
If you identify a suspected Scripture-text, formatting, navigation, or display error in the Sacred Books Bible Reader, please contact Sacred Books and identify the translation, book, chapter, verse, screen, or issue involved where possible.
Sacred Books may investigate and correct confirmed issues in future updates.
10. Purchases Through Third Parties
Sacred Books products may be sold or distributed through third parties, including booksellers, retailers, marketplaces, application stores, and digital platforms.
A transaction completed with a third-party seller is also governed by that seller’s:
purchase terms;
payment terms;
refund policies;
delivery rules;
account requirements; and
privacy practices.
Sacred Books does not control every policy or technical process used by an independent retailer or platform.
For purchases made through Amazon or another third-party marketplace, refund, replacement, shipping, and transaction questions may need to be handled directly by that platform.
11. Direct Purchases
If Sacred Books offers products for purchase directly through a Sacred Books-controlled website, the price, delivery method, refund terms, subscription terms, or other transaction information displayed at the time of purchase becomes part of the agreement for that transaction.
You agree to provide accurate billing and transaction information where required.
Sacred Books may refuse or cancel transactions reasonably suspected of fraud, error, unauthorized activity, or violation of these Terms, subject to applicable law.
12. Free Resources and Digital Downloads
Sacred Books may provide free downloads, guides, worksheets, educational materials, or other resources.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, free resources are licensed for individual personal use and remain subject to applicable Sacred Books intellectual-property rights.
Providing a resource for free does not place Sacred Books proprietary content into the public domain.
13. Accounts
Some current or future Sacred Books Services may allow or require an account.
If an account is offered, you are responsible for:
providing accurate information;
maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials;
controlling access to your device or account; and
notifying Sacred Books of suspected unauthorized access where appropriate.
The current Sacred Books Bible Reader for Roku does not require a Sacred Books account.
14. Applications, Software, and Updates
Sacred Books may update, correct, improve, modify, replace, suspend, or discontinue applications or other digital Services.
Updates may be necessary for:
security;
device compatibility;
platform requirements;
legal compliance;
content corrections;
feature improvements; or
technical maintenance.
Sacred Books does not guarantee that every application will remain compatible with every device, operating-system version, browser, or third-party platform indefinitely.
15. Roku Platform
The Sacred Books Bible Reader may be distributed through the Roku Streaming Store.
Roku is an independent platform provider.
The operation of Roku devices, Roku accounts, the Roku Streaming Store, platform analytics, app installation, device compatibility, platform availability, and other Roku-controlled services are governed by Roku’s own terms and policies.
Sacred Books is responsible for its application and its original content but does not control Roku’s devices, operating systems, store infrastructure, account services, or independent platform operations.
Availability of the Sacred Books Bible Reader may therefore depend in part on Roku policies, technical requirements, device support, regional availability, and platform decisions.
16. Third-Party Websites, Platforms, and Services
Sacred Books may link to third-party websites, products, retailers, videos, social platforms, educational resources, or other external services.
A link does not necessarily mean Sacred Books controls, endorses, guarantees, or accepts responsibility for everything available through that third party.
Users should review applicable third-party terms and privacy policies before using external services.
17. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Sacred Books Services to:
violate applicable law;
infringe another person’s intellectual-property or privacy rights;
interfere with the security or operation of a Service;
attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts;
distribute malware or malicious code;
impersonate another person or organization;
fraudulently obtain products or services;
remove proprietary notices from Sacred Books-owned materials;
reproduce or commercially redistribute proprietary Sacred Books content without authorization; or
use automated systems to scrape or extract proprietary content in a manner prohibited by law or these Terms.
18. User Messages, Feedback, and Submissions
If you voluntarily send Sacred Books feedback, suggestions, error reports, questions, reviews, or other communications, Sacred Books may use those communications to respond to you, operate the business, improve products, correct errors, or develop Services.
You retain ownership of material that you own.
Sending Sacred Books an idea does not automatically make you a co-owner of later Sacred Books products that are independently developed.
Do not submit confidential business information or highly sensitive personal information unless necessary and appropriate.
19. Privacy
Use of Sacred Books Services is also subject to the Sacred Books Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, retained, or disclosed and includes specific information regarding the Sacred Books Bible Reader.
20. Children and Family Use
Some Sacred Books materials may be suitable for families, educators, caregivers, parents, or minors with appropriate supervision.
The Sacred Books Bible Reader is a general-audience Scripture-reading application and is not specifically designed as a children’s application.
Services involving purchases, contracts, accounts, or submission of personal information should be managed by a person legally able to enter into the applicable transaction or with appropriate parent or guardian involvement.
21. Availability of Content
Sacred Books may add, remove, replace, revise, reorganize, or discontinue content or Services.
The availability of a particular:
book;
Scripture translation;
application;
digital download;
article;
platform;
marketplace listing; or
feature
is not guaranteed indefinitely.
Sacred Books may make reasonable corrections to factual, typographical, software, formatting, or publishing errors.
22. No Guarantee of Results
Books, applications, tracking tools, educational resources, spiritual content, and other Sacred Books Services are designed to provide information, structure, reflection, organization, or access to content.
Individual experiences vary.
Sacred Books does not guarantee that using a particular product will result in a specific medical, financial, educational, spiritual, personal, professional, or other outcome.
23. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sacred Books Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Sacred Books makes no warranty that every Service will:
operate without interruption;
be completely error-free;
remain available indefinitely;
work on every device or platform;
meet every individual user’s needs; or
produce a particular result.
Nothing in this section excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
24. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sacred Books, LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, or service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use a Sacred Books Service.
Sacred Books is not responsible for losses caused solely by independently operated third-party platforms, retailers, networks, devices, or services outside Sacred Books’ reasonable control.
Any limitation in these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to every user.
25. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses resulting from your unlawful misuse of Sacred Books Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.
This provision does not apply where prohibited by applicable consumer law.
26. Suspension or Termination
Sacred Books may restrict or terminate access to a Service when reasonably necessary because of:
unlawful activity;
fraud;
security concerns;
material violation of these Terms;
abuse of systems or Services;
legal requirements; or
discontinuation of the applicable Service.
Termination does not eliminate rights or obligations that by their nature should continue after termination, including intellectual-property rights and applicable limitations of liability.
27. Changes to These Terms
Sacred Books may revise these Terms as the business, Services, applications, technology, or legal requirements change.
Updated Terms will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Material changes may receive additional notice where required by law.
Your continued use of a Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
28. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Sacred Books, LLC as the contracting business entity, together with applicable United States federal law, without overriding any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you based on your location.
29. Severability
If a provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Failure by Sacred Books to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce that provision later.
30. Entire Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, any product-specific terms, and any terms presented during a direct Sacred Books transaction constitute the applicable agreement between you and Sacred Books regarding the relevant Service.
Third-party platforms may impose additional independent terms for their own services.
