Why Some Changes Only Start Showing Up After a While

A person may begin the week expecting the answer to appear quickly. Nothing dramatic happens at first. Day one feels mostly normal. Day two still seems manageable. By the middle of the week, something starts feeling less smooth, but not sharply enough to explain with confidence. What once felt unchanged now feels slightly different, though the person may still struggle to say exactly when that difference began.
That slower kind of movement is easy to underestimate.
People tend to trust what appears immediately. Faster differences feel easier to explain because they seem tied to one clear moment. Slower differences behave differently. They gather weight quietly. The person notices them gradually, often after several days have already passed. By then, the week is no longer sitting in memory as separate days.
